What a perfect day for a little Halloween spirit. Folks at work participated, the boys had lots of Halloween activities at school and we laughed and looked at the stars while making our Trick or Treating rounds in the neighborhood. All in all it was a wonderful day. CCG could do this every day. He loves the costumes, the scary music, the jack-o-lanterns, and the darkness. CPG on the other hand, needed coaxing to put on the costume and keep it on. But once we headed out to collect our loot, he was more than willing to stay dressed.
I love this holiday because it gives permission to all of us to be silly and uninhibited. And I get the chance to show my boys that I can have fun.
