A Dream Came True Today

We had a great weekend with our visitors, my sister and brother-in-law. After a journey out to the Sand sculptures at Hampton, we drove along the NH seacoast, then made our way back to Northwood. The boys got to spend the day with Auntie playing and swimming...they had a blast! Auntie is the coolest, in their eyes:-)

On Saturday, SJG arranged for us all to ride on the Cog railway, as Uncle Mark is a HUGE fan of things mechanical...and steam related:-) Mark rode in the engine and shoveled coal like a real fireman. He made a comment that it was one of the best experiences of his life...I guess we made a childhood dream come true:-) CCG and CPG were very excited to see both their daddy and favorite uncle on the train at the same time.

Once we made our way back to Base, we headed off for an easy hike to see some nice waterfalls. The boys splashed a little before the cold water got the better of them. And CCG didn't stop chatting the WHOLE time! Poor Uncle Mark....:-) as he didn't even get a break once we were on the road again...

Here are some photos and a video clip of the events today!
